Test Process Improvement (TPIŽ) is trademark of Sogeti of the Netherlands.

The idea of TPIŽ is to provide a model to support you improving your test process.  Not improving you quality system or your system development methodology, but improving your test process!

The objectives of TPIŽ are:

bullet

Reduce project iteration time
bullet

delivery time

bullet

time-to-market

bullet

Improve the quality of the test process
bullet

structure

bullet

Reduce time and resources used in testing

The model is based on experiences of many people working with testing and on test project over many years.  It groups the test process activities into 20 key areas, and suggest an assessment methodology with a measuring system to indicate your maturity within all the key areas. Each Key Area has one or more Levels (indicating maturity).  For each Level, several Checkpoints and hundreds of Improvement Suggestions are documented.

The outcome of the assessment will tell you in what key area your organisation will benefit the most from an improvement within that area.

An introduction to TPIŽ can be found at the TPI WEB-site (click here).

Amland Consulting has done a TPI-project together with Martin Pol, at a large telecommunication company and a major oil & gas company.  The experience from these key projects and other assessment projects, provide us with a unique background in the Scandinavian market to support your organisation with a TPIŽ assessment.
